Prince Andrew, the Walls are Closing In
by Simon inone thing i've learnt over the years is to read between the lines.. that means reading statements carefully.. if you have never met someone, would you say "i have never met them" or would you say "i don't remember ever meeting them"?.
the latter is just a get-out out in case evidence is presented that you did in fact meet them, because there is a photo of you with your arm around them in the upstairs of a pedo's friends, girlfriends house, which you also claim you never went to.. what will happen if the us jails a uk royal?
who knows.. before then i just hope he does another of those "utterly convincing" bizarre interviews to "prove" how he couldn't have done it because he is incapable of sweating (cut to photo of sweating andrew).

We will always wonder what is buried in concrete on that island.
Wine, women, and song have always been the province of the well connected. I do differentiate a 17 yo and a pubescent child. And as an honest assessment of the male psyche I wonder what I would do given opportunity with a apparently willing girl. That ignores marriage vows, conscience from upbringing; and that most of us do not go looking for opportunities

On the current migrant crisis
by LoveUniHateExams inthousands of migrants have come to england this year, already beating last year's total.. some may have fled syria and other war-torn countries; others are economic migrants.. let me try to get my head around this phenomenon: migrants are relatively safe in france and other countries.
they then leave the relative safety of continental europe and risk their lives and that of their children by crossing the english channel in rubber dinghies.
there's just no fixing stupid, is there .

If it is immigrants being absorbed how did London end up with a Muslim mayor and a huge Muslim population.
Where (USA) I live there is a huge Hispanic community to the point where documents are in Spanish and I am made to feel unwelcome at certain stores. They are not doing undesirable jobs but rather are doing skilled labor for enough money to have newer cars and trucks. They fly Mexicsn flags.
The same for the African immigrants keeping their dress, customs.
Mist of them are not absorbing or adding flavor to our institutions but are keeping separate

A little off topic... I'll be moving...
by Expanded-Mind ini'd appreciate getting some opinions about a decision i will shortly have to make.. i am moving soon and have the choice of two different apartments in two different towns.
i am hoping this move will be one of the last that i have to make - i have moved frequently in my life - at least for a long, long while.. the apartment i like the least is in a town and a location that i love due to my history with, and connection to the area.
the apartment i love is in a town and location i am not as crazy about, but it is still a really nice area.

2700 years ago Jews ate pigs
by fulltimestudent infrom haaretz newspaper:.
what does a pig skeleton discovered in jerusalem say about first temple era jews?.
the argument here is that sanctions on eating pork were only introduced in the 2nd temple era.. so what does that tell you bout biblical accuracy.. .

Not even the governing body has dreams revealing sins or prophecy. Being annointed is a private matter. Probably happens while sitting at a desk

Electric Vehicles ... or Auto Unions?
by Simon inapparently biden had an electric vehicle summit earlier this week.. tell me the first name that comes to mind when it comes to electric vehicles?.
tesla ... right?
they have practically defined the segment after all.. but which company wasn't invited to biden's electric vehicle summit?.

I foresee a big fail in pushing electric and scrapping internal combustion. The grid, lithium, disposal, range, unicorns.
Wait for a decline in the economy, standard of living, freedom. I get undercurrents of fewer short cool showers, dense housing, public transit, permission to travel.

Splane`s war rhetoric
by inbetween09 inthe last talk o the saturday convention of jw was already often the centre of discussion, with all the name calling, logical fallacies and fear mongering.
however, it was interesting, not just what and how splane adressed the matter, also what he actually had to admit.
1) he had to admit, that the org is actually loosing court battles, left and right.

My wife only noted the apostate warning part. Told me they are really active. Did not catch on that there are lawsuits being hushed up.
I thought it funny he started with the "wicked men among you" scripture. There certainly are

The stupid dems are tying to push BS in the infrastructure bill, who would have thought it.
by mickbobcat inso i was listing to the news and in the infrastructure bill there is a part that will tax you on how many miles you drive.
this is above the state and federal gas tax.
so now they will control and monitor your millage and tax you on it.

I think the mileage tracker will be GPS google put a tracker in an update on my phone. when I found it it showed the time and location I was, complete with an error showing me at a school for 2 hours. I was at a gun range and the school was apparently picked up. Of course Google lets us turn it off🙄
There us a need to pay for roads but the schemes always seem to target lower income and rural. You need above average income to have a tesla and live in a core city apartment.

Utopia is always just ahead.
I can contrast the whole in my iwn conflicts. I admire machines, hate noise. I am, as the miners say, afraid of the dark, so dont like tunnel mines but also do not like the muhlenberg county open pits. And the reclaimed hollers aint the same.
Concrete blocks used to be cinder blocks fly ash is a source of lithium. Fly ash is important for cement cement needs kilns run by gas. The roads need concrete and asphalt (oil). Plastic and rubber need oil. Steel needs coked coal.
Paper bags are replacing plastic bags that replaced paper bags. Meantime the towel tp people are bragging about planting trees. You bet, they own huge commercial forests and trees are a crop. We can go back to a garden of eden that never was, the dark ages, 40 acres and a mule, or use industry to maintain civilization. take your choice
